Interview Motivation: Africa’s Green Hydrogen Revolution AND C&I Green Energy Surge

1. Pioneering the Global Green Energy Revolution

Africa is emerging as a major player in the global green hydrogen market, with countries like Morocco, South Africa, and Namibia poised to capitalise on this green energy source. With vast investment potential, Africa’s green hydrogen projects attract significant global interest, driven by both their economic promise and the appeal of sustainable investment.

2. Africa’s Commercial & Industrial Sectors Ignite a Green Energy Boom

Africa’s vast, untapped renewable energy resources are becoming central to the global net-zero ambitions by 2050, with the continent’s commercial and industrial (C&I) sectors driving significant growth through increasing public-private and multinational investments.

International law firm A&O Shearman’s partners, experts in green hydrogen commercialisation, will be available for interviews to discuss Africa’s hydrogen potential, investment landscape, and viable use cases. They will be available on the morning of either Tuesday, 25 June or Wednesday, 26 June as they will be at the conference.
