Africa’s Path to Future Food Security and Sustainable Agricultural Productivity 24-25 March 2020 – Villa Rosa Kempinski, Nairobi, Kenya
There is no doubt. Increased adopting of existing Ag-Tech and scaling up innovation to small holder farmers and large agri-ventures is Africa’s path to future food security. Across the developing world many smallholder farmers and agribusinesses lack access to the right information at the right time, including the availability of new innovations, agriculture techniques, weather forecasts, current market prices and more. The 4th AFTI East Africa Summit aims to explore the upsurge in new thinking and the game changing developments in agri practices and technology, and delve into the challenges of agri-tech adoption and scaling. Industry experts and key agri stakeholders will explore what is needed to truly scale innovations to reach millions of smallholder farmers, and what innovations are available, accessible, affordable, replicable and scalable. AFTI EA will combine strategic presentations and expert panel discussions, masterclasses and an interactive exhibition floor with matchmaking meetings and superb networking.
